Headline: KK Symphony Orchestra promises inspiring concert

KOTA KINABALU: The Kota Kinabalu Symphony Orchestra (KKSO), under the baton of local renowned conductor Yap Ling, will once again bring city folks an inspiring concert.
After a debut performance on May 31 this year, the KKSO will have another concert – this time for two days on Jan 1 and 2, 2005.
And for the first time, the Kota Kinabalu audience will be treated to a live performance of a two-piano concerto, a double violin concerto and a 70-member strong Tenom Keningau Children Choir accompanied by a full orchestra.
The KKSO New Year concert will be held at the Main Auditorium of the Menara Tun Mustapha here at 7.30pm.
The guest-of-honour will be Tan Sri Chong Kah Kiat, who is the Deputy Chief Minister-cum-Minister of Tourism, Culture & Environment.
The concert is supported by the Sabah Tourism Board.
